Moyosa Spaces

Project summary:

Moyosa Spaces is a platform for building immersive virtual galleries for clients like The National Gallery and Diageo. I’ve worked on it since its inception, designing every part of the UI and shaping the user experience through research, iteration, and hands-on development. With hundreds of thousands of total views and thousands of monthly users, it offers an intuitive navigation system, a modern interface, and impressive visuals on any device.

Moyosa Spaces is Moyosa Media’s own platform for building immersive virtual galleries. From virtual museums for The National Gallery, to digital retail stores (ISKO) and interactive brand experiences (Diageo), Spaces powers a wide range of applications for clients around the world.

I’ve been involved with the project since its inception in 2020, and our mission was to create a product that was more intuitive and more visually impressive than anything else on the market. We began with competitive research, defined the user journeys for multiple target audiences, built an easy-to-use navigation system and designed a clear & modern interface.

I created the full UI: intro screen, interactive info panels, catalogue menu, help panel, 3D viewer with AR feature, video player, and icon set—each available in both light and dark themes. Responsive design was a key priority of mine for a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Over five years, the design evolved through multiple iterations based on user testing and real-world feedback. Major improvements were the new catalogue (going from a simple list to a visual catalogue with filters and search options) and the free-teleport navigation system (click anywhere to move around the space, which greatly improved usability on mobile and laptops).

In the early stages, I also worked hands-on in building the galleries using KRPano and implemented UI elements in HTML and CSS. One concept I also contributed to was a "Tours" feature—a guided, story-driven walkthrough—which, while never launched, opened exciting possibilities for a more curated experience.

Today, Moyosa Spaces is seen by thousands of users each month, with total views across all galleries reaching well into the hundreds of thousands. This project became a canvas for design experimentation, helping me sharpen both my creative and technical skills. I’m very proud of what we built with Moyosa Spaces.
